Les Bourbakettes is the name of a mini seminar which takes place every week in Sophie Germain (currently friday at nine am), in the common room of the PhD students (room 657). The aim of this seminar is to encourage PhD students to come and explain an accessible subject, in order to practice their oratorical skills. Customarily, talks are accompanied by croissants and pains au chocolat brought by the speaker. Bourbakette are usually announced through the PhD students mailing list.
