Kashaev's volume conjecture predicts asymptotic series associated to hyperbolic knots. This can be independently defined and was recently shown to be a topological invariant in joint work with Garoufalidis and Storzer. These series were conjectured to be resurgent and precise conjectures for this structure were given by Garoufalidis-Gu-Mariño. I will discuss recent work with Fantini where we prove these conjectures for simple hyperbolic knots.
