Résume | Abstract: Assume $G$ is a connected reductive algebraic group equipped with a Frobenius endomorphism $F$ defined over a field of good characteristic. To each irreducible character of the finite group $G^F$ Lusztig has associated a canonical $F$-stable unipotent conjugacy class of $G$ called the unipotent support of the character.
For each unipotent conjugacy class of $G^F$ Kawanaka has defined a character called a GGGR, (which is a Gelfand-Graev character when the class contains regular unipotent elements). In this talk we will discuss results concerning the multiplicities of an irreducible character in the GGGRs defined using elements in its unipotent support. |
