| Résume | Hall algebras provide one of the first known examples of categorification. They appear in the study of the representation theory of quantum groups and of counting invariants of moduli spaces. I will discuss various constructions and properties of Hall algebras of exact and triangulated categories. If time permits, i will discuss also their relation to quiver varieties and quantum cluster algebras. |
