On non-split dihedral representations arising from elliptic curves

Résumé :

This talk will discuss relations between the surjectivity of mod p representations attached to elliptic curves over Q and congruence primes. In particular, we will discuss the case of mod p representations with projective image a dihedral group of order dividing 2(p+1) where there are connections to congruences with eigenforms attached to grossencharacters on imaginary quadratic fields.
