In this talk, we will introduce a result on the Harder's conjecture
for the congruence between the Hecke eigenvalues of vector valued
Siegel modular forms and elliptic modular forms.
One of main difficulties in treating this conjecture arises from the
fact that it is not concerned with the congruence between Hecke
eigenvalues of two Hecke eigenforms. To avoid this problem,
we propose a conjecture on the congruence between the
Klingen-Eisenstein series of the Ikeda lift and a certain lift of vector
valued Siegel modular forms and show that our conjecture implies
 the Harder's conjecture. Moreover, we will give a proof of our
conjecture under certain assumptions. This is a joint work with
H. Atobe, T. Ibukiyama, H. Katsurada and T. Yamauchi.
