Résume

Conical symplectic singularities arise in physics as Higgs branches of superconformal field theories, as 3d Coulomb branches, and as moduli space of branes in string theory. This insight forms the basis of the "magnetic quiver" program, which provides powerful methods to describe the stratification of such singularities into symplectic leaves and characterize transverse slices.  In this talk, I review the physical background, the concept of Coulomb branch and magnetic quiver, and introduce the "fission and decay" algorithm giving the stratification. As an application, I give a partial classification of isolated conical symplectic singularities.
