| Résume | The twisted (or spectral) Cocycle is a linear cocycle that was defined with the purpose of obtaining fine spectral information about the dynamics of IETs, substituions, S-adic systems, and special flows over them. I will start by giving some motivation for the study of this Cocycle and will talk about the symmetry of its spectrum and the fact that this Cocycle always admits (with respect to a certain natural invariant measure) κ+1 zero exponents where κ is a certain combinatorial quantity associated with the IET’s permutation. This is based on joint work with Hesam Rajabzadeh. |
