Le séminaire des thésards est l'occasion pour les doctorants de présenter des résultats et des problématiques dignes d'intérêt devant un public de non-spécialistes. L'ambiance y est informelle ; poser des questions naïves est encouragé, et les questions moins naïves sont bienvenues dans la mesure où elles n'entravent pas le bon déroulement de l'exposé.

Certain families of combinatorial objects (such as non-intersecting lattice paths, tilings, and alternating sign matrices) admit explicit enumeration formulas, often expressed as determinants or simple product formulas. These formulas are often explained by the notion of integrability, which originates in mathematical physics. In this talk, I will try to give a broad picture of what falls under the category of integrable combinatorics, present some concrete examples of integrable models, explain their connections with models from physics, and show some techniques to compute exact formulas.
