Résume

I will present a joint work with Fathi Ben Aribi and Ka Ho Wong around volume conjectures. Roughly, a volume conjecture describes a link between the semiclassical limit of a quantum invariant of a triangulated hyperbolic knot complement and the hyperbolic geometry of its complement. There are several flavors and we will focus of a version by Andersen and Kashaev.
Recently, arguments by Fathi and Ka Ho reduce essentially this conjecture to a combinatorial property of the triangulation, called FAMED. I will explain this condition and how to extensively test this condition, and a path toward a proof of the volume conjecture.
