| Résume | Given a reductive group over a number field, it is natural to ask whether there exist automorphic representations of some prescribed type at each local place. If the prescribed types are discrete series then this is proved by Clozel. I consider the L-packet analogue of this question and give a partial answer, using Kazhdan's simple trace formula argument. |
