RésumeStein manifolds are affine complex manifolds. They include affine varieties and cotangent bundles, and correspondingly are interesting both for their Hamiltonian dynamics and for their algebaic geometric and mirror-symmetry related properties. In this talk I will describe methods for constructing Stein manifolds (in particular, “exotic” ones),  Lagrangian submanifolds in them, and for computing some of their dynamical and Floer-theoretic invariants.
