Résume | The notion of ergodic Banach space was introduced by V. Ferenczi and C. Rosendal (2005) to study the classification of the relative complexity of the isomorphism relation between the subspaces of a separable Banach space.
In this talk we study a criterion for ergodicity based on the Enflo's criterion for the construction of spaces without the approximation property, which allow us to prove that a non-ergodic Banach space must be near-Hilbert. This reinforces the Ferenczi-Rosendal conjecture that $\ell_2$ is the only non ergodic Banach space.
