| Résume | Let S be a spinor represenation of an orthogonal quantum group. Then the number of irreducible representations in its second tensor power grows with the rank. This makes the corresponding braid representations quite complicated. They can be studied by embedding them into representations of another q-deformation of an orthogonal Lie algebra. As an application, we can verify special cases of a conjecture that braid representations coming from weekly integral braided fusion categories have finite image. |
