We will explain some results in the direction of a p-adic Narasimhan-Seshadri correspondence for vector bundles with numerically flat reduction (obtained jointly with Christopher Deninger) and some recent contributions to this problem relying on Scholze's diamonds (joint work with Lucas Mann).
