| Résume | I will describe a joint long term project with Kazhdan and Varshavsky aimed at
proving conjectural endoscopic properties of certain invariant distributions on a p-adic
group by l-adic sheaves methods. The results include stability of cuspidal depth zero
L-packets (proved earlier by De Backer - Reeder and by Kazhdan - Varshavsky by other
methods) and special cases of the stable center conjecture.
Time permitting I will mention work in progress aimed at understanding unipotent
characters. |
