There has been a growing interest in the study of Cartan subalgebras of C*-algebras as they have been found to link C*-algebras to topological dynamics as well as geometric group theory. Remarkable links have also been made to the classification programme for C*-algebras. In this talk I will discuss some recent results on how to construct Cartan subalgebras in various classes of AH-algebras. I will discuss their groupoid models and some uniqueness results.
