| Résume | Abstract: Hilbert schemes of points on threefolds are singular and considered pathological. However, recent results suggest they admit much more structure than expected. In the talk I will discuss recent results on smooth loci of these Hilbert schemes and resolutions of singularities for small numbers of points. Time permitting, I will draw an analogous picture for the Quot scheme of points on a surface. This is joint work with Alessio Sammartano and Ritvik Ramkumar. |
