Abstract: I will present an ongoing project, in collaboration with Profs. Hui-Wen Lin and Chin-Lung Wang, investigating the behavior of Gromov-Witten invariants under birational transformations of projective smooth varieties. This includes particular consideration of flips, flops, and blow-ups. A key aspect of navigating these "wall-crossing" scenarios in Kahler cones involves the analytic continuation of generating functions. If time permits, we will touch upon preliminary applications of this framework to toric geometry.
